Storage
Always, always visit the storage facility on which your property will be stored. Make sure that there is good security and fire controls in place. Also make sure that lifting equipment, forklifts etc. are in good order. The last thing you want is your valuable furniture damaged due to badly kept equipment and facilities.
Packing
Use good quality tape and boxes. Make sure that all delicate, valuable items are clearly marked fragile and use plenty of soft foam, bubblewrap etc. Be careful not to over-pack boxes, leave plenty of breathing space for packing.
